The Medical Center - University of Freiburg participated in the Second German-Uzbek Health Forum in Berlin

On April 18-19, 2024, Berlin hosted the II German-Uzbek Health Forum with the support of the Federal Ministry of Health of Germany and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Asilbek Anvarovich Khudayarov, State Secretary of the Ministry of Health of the Federal Republic of Germany Dr. Thomas Steffen, representatives of leading medical schools in Germany, major clinics and medical companies took part in the Forum.
The forum focused on oncology, emergency medicine, and nursing. Prof., Dr. Elmar Kotter from the Medical Center - University of Freiburg presented a report on "Modern Diagnostics in Oncology" at the panel session. Specialists from two countries exchanged views on new trends in oncological surgery and treatment methods.
This medical forum provides a unique opportunity to strengthen cooperation and partnership between scientists, politicians and representatives of the medical industry of Germany and Uzbekistan.
